Before you start

Steps

  1. Draw a card.
  2. Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay {1} to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
  3. The Tentacle enters the battlefield, triggering Marneus.
  4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding {C}{C}.
  5. Resolve the Marneus trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
