Cart assistant

A small bookmark to install once, that drops all your cards at once into the cart of the stores where Tapt cannot do it by itself.

What it is for

When you click “Open at a store” in your shopping list, half of the stores receive your cards directly in their cart. The other half do not: their site offers no way to fill a cart from the outside, so Tapt opens one tab per card and you have to click “add” on each. For a deck list, that is a lot of clicks.

The assistant fixes that. It is a browser bookmark: you install it once, and on these stores you click it once per order. It adds your cards one by one, tells you what went through and what was no longer in stock, then takes you to the store's cart.

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar

Grab the button below with the mouse and drop it on your browser's bookmarks bar (the row of shortcuts under the address bar). If you do not see it, show it with Ctrl+Shift+B. Do not click it here: it does nothing on this page.

Tell Tapt

Tapt has no way of guessing whether you installed it. As long as you do not turn it on here, your shopping list keeps working exactly as before, with one tab per card. You can turn it off at any time.

This setting lives in this browser only. If you use Tapt on another computer, you will have to redo steps 1 and 2 there.

3
Use it

Open your shopping list, click “Open at a store”. The store opens in a new tab. Then click your Tapt Cart bookmark, at the top. A small window appears at the bottom right and counts the cards as they are added. When it is done, you land on the store's cart and you pay as usual, at the store.

The stores concerned

The assistant is only used on these 9 stores. Everywhere else, Tapt already fills the cart by itself and you have nothing to do.

What the bookmark does, and what it does not do

It does one single thing: ask the store to add to your cart the cards you chose in Tapt, exactly as if you clicked “add to cart” yourself for each one.

It never touches your payment, your address or your password. It only runs when you click it, never by itself. It reads nothing on the other sites you visit, unlike a browser extension, and that is exactly why we chose this solution.

On a phone, bookmarks of this kind do not work reliably. The assistant is made for the computer.
