Tapt is a price comparison tool. It gathers the prices and stock status that Quebec stores selling Magic: The Gathering cards display publicly, to make it easier to find the best offer. Comparing prices, comparing a deck and browsing sets do not require an account. Tapt does not sell anything itself: no transaction, payment or delivery goes through Tapt. Every purchase is made directly with the store you choose, under that store's own conditions.
The prices and stock shown come from the stores' websites at the time of the search. They may change between the moment they are viewed on Tapt and the moment the order is placed: a card may have been sold in the meantime, or a price may have been displayed incorrectly by the store itself. The final price must always be confirmed directly with the store before a purchase is completed. Tapt makes every effort to keep the information accurate, but cannot guarantee its accuracy at all times. Crossed-out prices and discounts shown are those announced by the stores, which Tapt does not verify.
Creating an account is optional. It only gives access to the features that keep information from one visit to the next: Price tracking, Support tickets, favourite stores and the shopping list. The account is for personal use, and its holder is responsible for keeping access to it secure.
Tapt must not be used to extract its content in an automated and abusive way, to try to bypass its security measures, or to harm in any way the stores whose prices are shown on it. Tapt limits the number of requests per IP address on certain actions (searching, creating a ticket or a tracked card) to protect the service against abusive automated use. Use judged to be excessive may be slowed down or blocked, with or without an account.
Tapt is not a party to any transaction between the user and a store. Any dispute about a purchase, a delivery, a refund or the quality of a card must be settled directly with the store concerned. Tapt accepts no responsibility for losses resulting from an inaccurate price or stock level shown on the site.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page is the date of the latest revision.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada.
